This photo was taken in 1956 and appears on Page 14 of the book, except the photo is not in color in the book.

Photo features twin ferris wheels, the Blue Streak roller coaster, Dodgem Ticket Booth, The Flash tracks in the background, members of the Navy, and the general public. 

My mother met the author during his 1977 book tour in Chicago.  My mother purchased this photo because my sister and I are standing in the crowd in the foreground of the Midway.  This photo was taken in 1956 by the author of “Riverview Gone But Not Forgotten.”   This is a photo from the book that the author was selling on tour.

PLEASE NOTE:  This photo has one very small OE inch white mark on the top edge, due to its age.  Perfect for framing!  This photo is NOT returnable.
