Description
The Natural History of Thought London: Trubner & Co., 1887 Though the title is rather pretentious, Wall's book is more of a treatise on how to think, or rather, how to think properly. It is, essentially, an early and rather philosophical self-improvement guide. Wall was an amateur philosopher and a member of the Royal Astronomical Society. He made his living running tea plantations in Ceylon (Sri Lanka). Bound in ruled green cloth boards with gilt-stamped spine titles. Yellow endpapers. 416 pages with appendix. 9" x 6". |
