This crimson red sweet william dianthus is easily grown from seed! It is a compact upright plant about 24 inches tall, vigorous and eager to please. Due to it's height, this is not typically used as a ground cover plant. This beauty will get clusters of crimson red flowers that will catch your eye and the eye of your neighbors. Hardy in zones 4- 9, thriving in full sun/partial shade and any ordinary garden soil. A mainstay of any self-respecting border or bed,sweet william also does well in containers of all types, accent plantings, and edging among flowering ground cover plants.
