In the same family as the carnation, so this looks a lot like them only in miniature form. This charming old fashioned garden favorite grows 24 inches tall and has large clusters of wonderfully sweet fragrant blossoms. The flowers are a lovely dark, dark purple really do look black. They make a bright showy display in borders and rock. Will come back year after year.
