Measures 6-3/8" X 8-5/8", 60 pp, written by Stuart Chase, two-tone illustrations by LYND WARD, softcover without dust jacket published by Row, Peterson & Co. (IL).

According to the Conservapedia (I kid you not!), Stuart Chase was considered the inventor of the phrase "the New Deal" during the administration of President Franklin Roosevelt, and advised Roosevelt on economic programs.  According to the Conservapedia, "Chase's ideals were influenced by HENRY GEORGE, KARL MARX, THORSTEIN VEBLEN, FABIAN SOCIALISM, and the Technocracy movement."
(Pause for appropriate reflection.)  Whatever.  The illustrations by LYND WARD are fascinating, and reflect the artistic movements of the Works Progress Administration and the National Recovery Act.  And the reality of Chase's economic philosophy seems as relevant during the Trump administration, as it did during the administration of Franklin Roosevelt.  Adam Smith he wasn't.
