Welcome and thanks for visiting!
I am offering the vintage 1982 Singapore 20 Cents swordfish Copper nickel coin # 190.

The First series of circulation coins was issued on 20 November 1967. These coins, displaying various designs, represented a dramatic break with the past, as coins issued by previous currency commissions had borne only the effigy of the reigning British monarch on the obverse. This was a reflection of the new status which Singapore had gained as an independent republic 1965.

The coins in this series have a common reverse design. The denomination of the coin is in the centre with the year-date at the top. Two stalks of paddy appear on the left and the word "SINGAPORE" on the right.

OBVERSE: A swordfish against a background symbolizing water.
EVERSE: Value within Grain ears wreath, 1979 SINGAPORE.
Edge: Milled.

Measurement: 23.6 mm.
Weight: 5.6 grams.

Condition: VF (Very Fine), see photos.

As a coin collector I DO NOT clean any of my coins to preserve the original patina, if you wish to clean the coin/s I will leave it up to you.

I’m willing to drill a hole in the coin with NO Extra Cost if you needed for Jewelry Making.

The coin you see in the photo is the coin you get.

Fantastic for your jewelry, craft projects, Steampunk, collage art projects or just a great addition to your antique coins collection.
