Description
This is a darling little vintage clutch bag for evening or cocktails.
I believe it dates to the 1950's - 1960's.
Very lady-like and demure.
Ivory embossed leather (probably faux leather - not sure.)
Gold ormulu frame with flowers, bows and ribbon, appear to be handpainted, or enameled, in white, yellow, blue and pink. Has a Hollywood Regency vibe.
Spring clasp is also decorated.
Clutch has strap on the back - you insert your hand, and it is easier to hold elegantly while you hold a cocktail in the other hand, or a long sexy cigarette holder, ala Holly GoLightly!
Lined with blue satin.
Inside zipper pocket.
CONDITION
The outside is in very nice, clean vintage condition with no damage.
The satin lining is slightly faded or discolored - not bad, just showing a bit of its age.
Clasp works perfectly.
