"Singing from Memory" boasts a variety of spirited tempos, and the picking is just as important as the warbling.  There is something novel about the way these five Gaelic-singing brothers from County Donegal resurrected Ireland's vocal-harmony tradition and combined it with elements of fiddle-and-pipes dance bands and amplified pop bands.  The album is both refreshing and festive.
