This is a LARGE Antique Standard Glaze American Art Pottery Jardiniere with handpainted Irises Circa 1900. Standard Glaze Pottery was made by many companies in the early 1900's including Weller and Owens as well as many others. This Jardiniere measures approximately 10 1/2 inches in height and 13 inches in diameter at its widest with an 10 1/2 inch in diameter opening at the top, the base has a diameter of 6 inches in case you are looking to "marry" it with a pedestal. There is some crazing commensurate with age and use, some residue on the inside from previous use one tight line to the glaze on the top rim and an older chip on the underside as shown in photos.
