Lovely cream-white high-quality Imari porcelain tureen with
a beautiful form design that bears gentle upward grooves to inward curve points of the floral decorated outer walls, with decoratively formed cream side handles whose outer sides are completely adorned in bold gold, and a base that is trimmed in bright gold.
Together with a well-seated, form-matching, arched ceiling lid with a decoratively formed cream top handle whose upper side is completely adorned in bold gold, the outer rim of the lid is trimmed in bold gold, and the top is decorated with a rich black border, laced with multi-toned pink flowers and buds on delicate green vine stems and leaves.
The tureen is 4 inches deep, 12 inches long from handle to handle, 7.25 inches wide, and weighs 3 pounds 2 ounces, and with the lid, the pair combined weigh 4 pounds 10 ounces.
