Shell Pendant on Black Rope Genuine Shell Blue Lacquered Necklace Vtg 80s NWOT.
This is a vintage 1980s, intricately carved and cut portion of a genuine conch shell and comes on a sturdy black rope/string which can be adjusted by knotting it. The shell portion is a royal blue color and lacquered. An original tag adhered to the back reads "Shirt Shells" which was the name of the boutique store in Miami, Florida, where this pendant was purchased. Some important measurements are: 17-1/4" long top to bottom; shell itself is 3-1/2" high X 2-1/2" wide X 1/2" thick. These types of "kitschy" pendants are collectibles today and are funky/fun, colorful accessory pieces which can be worn to accessorize your "BOHO" wardrobe, a retro 1960s/1970s/1980s wardrobe, or just because you like it. These eye-catching costume jewelry items are a fashion favorite, great for everyday use or conversation pieces. Great vintage, one-of-a-kind costume jewelry pendant.
