This is an exquisite vintage 1970's Romantic Victorian style blouse by Jessica's Gunnies of San Francisco (an early Gunne Sax label.)
These early Gunne Sax blouses are a treasure - so detailed and feminine.
Original size tag is missing, but it is approx a modern M.
37" bust.
Ivory / cream cotton in a medium weight - almost like muslin.
Stand up lace collar with lace overlay.
Front yoke embellished with lace, floral applique, ribbon, and pintucks. Very Victorian or Edwardian! Also perfect for prairie or CottageCore looks.
Four long darts on front and back for a shapely, contoured fit / nipped waist.
Long full sleeves with puffed caps, wide cuffs with pearl buttons/loops.
Shoulder pads.
Button down back.
Rounded hem.
Unlined.

These look equally chic with jeans, CottageCore prairie skirts, or holiday velvet maxi skirts. Many years ago, when my daughter was in a choral group, I outfitted an carolling group in Dickens Victorian style, with these blouses as the focal point. They were stunning!
