This is a used Original BMW part. It came from a running and driving 1997 540i with 167,750 miles. It fits E38 740iL/740i, E39 540i and E31 840Ci, all with M62 V8 generally built before 1/97 with the 5hp-30 using software code PK. BMW also calls this transmission the A5S-560z. Includes the torque converter. Please note that the cooler line fastener stud is broken and will need to be replaced on installation. Details can be viewed in the photos. Shipping is by freight carrier (18 Wheeler) at buyer's expense to a commercial address (sorry, no home businesses, churches, or farms) with a loading dock and fork lift in the lower 48. Typical rates are $150-$400 depending on delivery location, please contact us for a quote. Requires a phone number for the delivery address and signature confirmation on delivery. If the item is returned as undeliverable we'll process it as a return or re-ship if the buyer pays any additional shipping fees. Please carefully inspect the freight before signing to receive it, if it shows any damage refuse to accept it from the carrier and contact us so we can help.

We take returns for any reason within 30 days. The item must arrive back in the same condition as it was shipped. If we make a mistake, we'll issue a full refund and cover return shipping cost. There's a 10% restocking fee on normal returns, shipping costs are not refundable and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
