Here I am pleased to offer a pair of Moira flower earrings, made in the 1980s - 1990s with traditional Art Nouveau techniques and the spirit of natural flora. These earring depict two layers of flower pedals made with orange and pink plique á jour enamel decorated round cut diamonds along the edges with silver toppings, then a gold bead center pave set with numerous tiny rubies. The inner layer of petals, along with the ruby studded bead center will tremble with the wearer's movement - thus called en Tremblant. The earrings have clip on backs with dropping posts that can be wear by either pierced or non-pierced ears. They are simply marked 750 on the clip posts. They are the early pieces made by London jeweler Moira and often you will found unsigned pieces. There are a total of 194 diamonds of 1 - 2 points with the total estimated diamond weight of 2.5 carats. Each center gold bead has about 60 tiny rubies. Each earring measure about 1 inch across and 14 mm tall from the base of the flower to the tip of the ruby studded bead. Together they weigh a nice 20.2 grams. These earrings have a lot of work from skilled craftsmanship! They will be your family heirloom for generations to come.
