Measures 5-1/2" X 7-9/16", 128 pp plus covers, Vol. 2, No. 6 (December 1951), published by Fantasy House Inc. (NY).

What a fun find!  Found a small selection of the first few issues of THE MAGAZINE OF FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION sitting innocently (and largely forgotten and ignored) on a shelf in an antique store in Hopkins, MN, and proudly adopted them into the family!  Since this is only an early issue of this magazine, there are only THREE advertisements in the entire issue -- and that's just for a subscription, plus a reminder about other magazines available from the publisher, plus a one-page ad for AUGUST DERLETH's THE OUTER REACHES and the Gnome Press.  Great fun!  Contents:
