This hand painted Tea For One teapot and teacup set has a chicken theme with a hen and her chicks on one side and a rooster on the other side. The finial handle on the lid is shaped like an egg. The pictorial scene wraps around the entire bottom of the cup. This could be a nice set of art pottery for display. I don't know if it is handmade or not.

The piece is signed by 2 different makers. The initials DAC are carved into the clay before it was fired and must belong to the one who made the set. The initials AJ inside of a C are painted and must belong to the one who painted the set. All of the painting is under the glaze.

The teacup and the teapot both hold approximately 12 ounces when filled to the brim. The entire set is approximately 7" tall to the top of the handle on the lid when the pot is sitting on the cup. The teapot is approximately 7" long from the spout to the handle. The cup is approximately 4-1/4" diameter and it is about 5-1/2" long with the handle. The cup is approximately 2-5/8" tall.

Shipping may be a bit high, depending how far it needs to ship, because it weighs over 2 pounds with a box and packing material.

Returns must be received within 30 days, in the same packaging and same condition it was when shipped to you. Buyer pays return shipping with no refunds on the original shipping. Once the item is returned in the same condition it was when shipped, your purchase price will be refunded.
