1984 Horror

A 12 year old preacher arrives in small town surrounded by vast cornfields.  He commands the children to murder all the adults so that their blood can be used to nourish the crops.  Told they can't dance, play, or sing, and must sacrifice themselves to the fields on their 18th birthdays, some attempt escape.  A young couple on a cross country trip finds a dead youngster in the road.  Bringing them into what appears to be a deserted town, they befriend his frightened sister.  She tries to explain the evil, but the couple soon experiences it for themselves.  Live adults aren't welcome in Gatlin and it's all they can do to get out alive
