Glossy Glaze Surrounds an Unglazed Matte Center Featuring a Raised 3D Relief Likeness of the Veteran's General Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, As It Appeared in the Year 1959, Shortly After it Was Established
Founded in 1958 and administered by the Veterans Affairs Commission of Taiwan the Taipei Veterans General Hospital is now a national first class medical center and a teaching hospital which provides specialized tertiary patient care, undergraduate medical education programs, and residency programs in Taiwan. Initially housing only 600 beds, it has now expanded to nearly 3,000 beds, and is regarded as a top National Medical Center.
This plate still has the original foil label on the back, though I am uncertain as to what it says since it is entirely in Oriental characters.
EXCELLENT CONDITION ~ No chips, nicks, flea bites, stains, or flaws. Original label is still on the back.
