Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1920s U.S. Mail-themed silent film drama, THE MAILMAN, released in 1923 by FBO and directed by Emory Johnson, in which veteran postman Bob Morley (Ralph Lewis) and his son Johnnie (Johnnie Walker) are honored for their service to the U. S. Mail Service. When Johnnie takes a position on the Enterprise, he is falsely convicted of theft and murder when the cargo is stolen and the ship's officer is shot. Finally, a confession from the real culprit saves Johnnie from being executed.
