This handmade fabric wreath has a multitude of holiday staples….ornaments, gingerbread men, candy canes, holly leaves and a pretty deep red and greens paisley. They all are working great together and really exude Christmas. The colors are rich with the balance of white and off white.

The ribbons are beautiful with polka dots, stripes, gingham, and solids in satin, jute, grosgrain and organza and a bit of corduroy as well! I absolutely adore this festive Christmas holiday winter wreath!

I would like to believe that each individual handmade wreaths attracts their future owner. The fabrics call out to the potential buyer, and an instant connection of the theme of the patterns of the wreath are made. This happens to me when shopping for every single fabric for a SooBoo Designs wreath! Whether it is in person or online, one of my most favorite things is finding the theme. For this wreath, the inspiration came from a repeat custom who wanted gingerbread men in reds and greens. Upon searching, I also found this candy cane pattern. I mixed the two patterns she chose new with leftovers in my stash and came up with this, plus another one with a few other patterns she liked better. I love the way in which this turned out. It’s so rich in color yet the lighter colors and ribbons “make” this design!
