This is a pane of 20  self adhesive FOREVER stamps featuring colorful stamps of four iconic elements of a traditional Day of the Dead ofrenda.

Stylized, decorated "sugar skulls" are personalized as a child with a hair bow, a father sporting a hat and a mustache, a mother with curled hair plus another child. The lighted candles are beacons to guide deceased loved ones on their annual return journey to the land of the living. The most popular flower of of the Day of the Dead - Marigolds (cempazuchitles) form vertical borders.

Luis Fitch designed and illustrated the stamps. Antonio Alcala was the art director.
