HYPE-STICKER on front. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Double LP. Gate-fold cover looks good; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/back/inner-gate); tiny surface abrasions and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeves are original (MCA logo). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear and discoloration. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge; heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Openings are crisp with signs of light use and divots. Label variation. (Not a cut-out.)
The Weavers were an American folk music quartet based out of the Greenwich Village area in New York City. They sang traditional folk songs from around the world, as well as blues, gospel music, children's songs, labor songs, and American ballads, and sold millions of records at the height of their popularity. Their style inspired the commercial "folk boom" that followed them in the 1950s and 1960s, including such performers as The Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul, and Mary, The Rooftop Singers, The Seekers, and Bob Dylan. This album features some of their greatest, most popular recordings.
