Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened; partially torn near opening-edge). Vinyl plays with crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover looks good; light scuffing (front/back); discoloration spots on back, especially at bottom left where shrink has come away. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Little shelf-wear along top-edge; more noticeable wear along bottom-edge where shrink has torn. Some corner wear. Opening shows signs of use. Mono pressing. (Not a cut-out.)
As a greatest-hits package, this collection accomplishes what none of the previous Limeliters albums could do: combine the best of the group's studio recordings with the excitement and spontaneity of their live albums. Just about all of the group's highlights are covered. Live tracks include their show opener, There's a Meetin' Here Tonight," and Lou Gottlieb's hilarious Madeira, M'Dear? and "Hey Li Lee Li Lee" (all from Tonight: In Person). Glenn Yarbrough's lyric tenor is featured on Lass from the Low Country and Wayfaring Stranger. Also welcome is This Train from the marvelous Through Children's Eyes album.
