Description

This is the sweetest little crazy quilt doll coverlet.
It is handmade - has the maker's label on the back. Her name was Doris L. Callaway of Greensburg, KS.
I looked her up - if she is still alive, she would be 98.
This is the most beautifully crafted piece - colorful patches in silks, satins, lace, and metallics.
Machine embroidered with decorative stitches in metallic threads.
Silk border with more embroidery.
Silk backing.
Edges are bound with matching silk.
It has some kind of very thin batting or fill - thinner than the usual batting. Maybe felt or wool?
Measures 8 1/2" x 13".
This is a piece of miniature art! It looks to have been so lovingly created.
It would make a pretty framed piece, or mini table mat, too.
Perfect condition - no damage, no stains, no signs of use. No odors.
From a smoke-free home.
