For your consideration is a Paul Counts handblown art glass sculpture.  This looks like a teapot without a lid.  Reminds me of a Macaroni Penguin.  There are many applied pieces, the handle, the spout and a couple of pieces under the handle, the top and the bottom.  Bright yellow adorns the top and bottom.  The handle is a gold color.  The spout starts off clear and then has an overlay of brown and white which makes it look like a beak or trunk.  Under the handle has two applied pieces.  One could be a tail and the larger one under the handle looks like a snail or a butterfly.  The overall color is a brown and black with splotches of white.  This is a decorative piece as it does not work as a pot.  The spout has no hole.  On the bottom you can see where is was cut off from the glass showing it was hand blown.  There is a sharp edge to the applied brown black spout.  Do not know if it happened when made or if it broke off.  This is a heavy piece.  Measures 12 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and is 9 1/2" from tip of spout to the handle edge.  A very unique piece that will add to your collection.
