For your consideration is a set of 2 vintage black amethyst luncheon or salad plates.  These plates have a beautiful purple color when held to the light.  They are hexigon in shape with indents at the angles.  Not sure who made them, but they look like the L E Smith plates that I have had in the past.  Very unique shape.  They measure 7 3/4" in diameter.  No chips or cracks.
