This is a clean lightly worn pre owned Hawaiian Grasses print Aloha shirt made by Tori Richard in size extra large. The shirt features Tori Richard's silky 100% polyester fabric in a beautiful wine red with a subtle Hawaiian sea grasses print with pearlized buttons and side vents. The print is perfectly matched like all Tori Richard shirts and features a welt chest pocket.
Mort Feldman, a successful Chicago apparel manufacturer, moved to Hawai'i in 1953 to retire. Retirement didn't suit Mr. Feldman, and so together with his wife, Janice Moody, and pattern maker Mitsue Aka, they founded Tori Richard, Ltd. The company was named after one of Mort's sons, Richard, and one of Janice's daughters, Victoria. Tori Richard, Ltd. was born with the singular philosophy of bringing sophistication to resort wear. Only the finest fabrications were to be selected and all artwork for prints would be designed by and exclusive to the company. Tori Richard's high standards require not only matching the pockets but also matching the front panels on all of their garments.
