Antique Double-Blade Slicer

Excellent antique condition on this vintage wooden board/ double blade slicer.

Would have been very useful shredding cabbage for slaw, but

was probably applied to other uses, as well.

This piece is approx. 18" long, 6.25" wide and 1.25" deep.  Original hardware

and blades.  The screws at the sides are used to manipulate the blades to

cut at different thicknesses.  

Both wood and hardware have an age-appropriate patina. This slicer is an estate item that was displayed for several decades.  The boards are

solid.

Beautiful piece for display.  Do not know if you would want to put it to use.
