Portuguese Chaimite V200 Armored Personnel Carrier
The Chaimite V-200 was a Portuguese armored personnel carrier made by Bravia. It was almost a copy of the Cadillac-Gage Commando and was developed by Bravia to be used as an armored personnel carrier and reconnaissance vehicle during the Portuguese Colonial War (Ultramar War). It was mainly used in the Guinea and Mozambique theaters of war. The vehicle started to be used in 1967 and it is still in use by the Portuguese Army having been used in the Ultramar War, the UN intervention in Bosnia and the NATO intervention in Kosovo. It was also exported to Peru (still in use in the Marines), Lebanon (still in use) and Libya (status unclear).
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in nine parts, turret, five tires, two axles and hull. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning by the buyer will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model and some painted shots, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
