Soviet T-28 Model 1938 medium tank with extra armor
The T-28 was a Soviet multi-turreted medium tank. The prototype was completed in 1931, and production began in late 1932. It was an infantry support tank intended to break through fortified defenses. The T-28 was designed to complement the heavier T-35 (also multi-turreted), with which it shared turret designs. The type did not have great success in combat, but it played an important role as a development project for Soviet tank designers. A series of new ideas and solutions that were tried out on the T-28 were later incorporated in future models. The T-28 Model 1938 was a version with the improved L-10 76.2 mm gun (from 16.5 calibres to 26 calibres), improved gun stabilization system and improved Model M-17L engine. The variant depicted has additional bolted armor.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in seven parts, turret, auxiliary turrets, hull, back and tracks. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning by the buyer will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model and some painted shots, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
