I was at the May 29th, 1990 Sunny Purchase Work Shop performance of Kiss Of The Spider Woman.  This was the a few days after (maybe right after) a theatre critic published an unfavorable review.  This caused a bit of a stir in the theatrical world, because this was a workshop and still a work in progress.  I remember that night hears members of the production team bemoan the fate of the production. If memory serves the workshop closed shortly thereafter.
