Joseph Holway (ca.1605-1647) emigrated from England to Dorchester, Massachusetts during or before 1634, moving to Lynn in 1636 and to Sandwich in 1637. He married Rose Allen and they had five children; after his death, she married William Newland. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Florida, Texas and elsewhere. Includes much on lines of English ancestry of the author to the 1500s.
