ABOUT THIS ISSUE:
BEN H. BAGDIKIAN, who examines and dramatizes the world of the chronically unemployed, has done extensive research on poverty. He is author of a book about the American poor, In the Midst of Plenty, which grew out of his article for The Post, THE INVISIBLE AMERICANS (Dec. 921 -- ?28, 1963).... While working on his pro-linebacker article, JAMES ATWATER so identified with the team he was covering that, just like the players, he began to relive plays over and over in his mind, and even dreamed at night about bad plays he had witnessed.... The only woman Oli Ben H. Bagdikian the reportorial staff of the Huntsville, Ala., Times, PATRICIA HOUTZ was awarded a first place in news-writing-without-a-deadline this year by the Associated Press in Alabama.... In the cover photograph, taken by WAYNE MILLER, the ever-inquisitive 27-month-old Fischer quintuplets Patricia Houtz get acquainted with a recent addition to their farm in South Dakota.
