Attention collectors, show exhibitors!  For your consideration, this is a beautiful pre owned Sliester Slimline Series bit with a No. 23 1-1/4 inch tall low port correction mouthpiece made from a special blend low carbon stainless steel alloy.  The close up photos of the inside of the shanks shows the maker's mark "SLIESTER" and the original owner etched their initials on the inside right cheek.   This is a great bit for use by reiners and other working type horses.

The Slimline Series is constructed just like the original Sliester bits with a square pin loose jaw.  The slimline series bits are significantly lighter in weight than the original Sliester series.  Originated in the early 1980's, these bits are still very popular today.  This bit has a 6-1/2 inch long cheeck with a 2-1/2 inch purchase for a 2.6 leverage ratio.  The mouthpiece measures 5-1/4 inches wide and the bit weighs 15.31 ounces.
