Solanum caripense commonly called Tzimbalo is a species of perennial shrub native to much of South America, easy to grow and widely cultivated in several countries for its tasty edible fruits.
This species is short and reaches a height of 30-50 cm.

Sow  in a fertile soil, with good drainage and away from strong winds.

Sowing: The seedbed is done in spring, it is a crop that is very sensitive to frost, so it is not convenient to sow earlier if there are no minimum temperatures above 15 ºC. The transplant is done between April and July when the plants have several pairs of leaves. . It is recommended not to bury the seeds due to their small size.
