NewmanHaas Indy Car Racing Team Reversible Leather Jacket

This jacket is Signed by Paul Newman, Carl Haas, Mario Andretti, and Nigel Mansell

The jacket itself is in Great Condition. It is a reversible jacket which means you can wear it inside out as well. There are a few markings on it due to age, but nothing serious. Worst mark is the scratch on the top shoulder where i took a picture, and the button where it needs to be cleaned.

This jacket has a letter of Provenience of how the jacket got signed. I also sent pictures of the signatures to the Indy 500 Museum, and they said the Signatures look to be Authentic.

As you can read in the letter, the jacket, and the signatures were acquired in 1994. When he acquired it, it was already signed by Nigel Mansell. The previous owner who got these signatures learned that these jackets were given to everyone on the team. After the Latina Seca CART Race he was able to have Mario Andretti sign it as well. It’s was his last race in CART.

The other two signatures, Paul Newman and Carl Haas were signed later at the San Jose Convention Center. The previous owner dropped the jacket off in hopes it would get signed, which it did.

This sale will get the Letter of Provenience & the Jacket. This letter is a copy as the original had the name and number of the person who got it signed. the person I bought this from wanted to keep that personal.
