-The IROC Firebird is based off of the actual production model raced in the late 90's International Race of Champions (IROC) series. The first release was a replica of one of the actual cars that raced in the series. On later releases, this vehicle has been renamed: "'98 Pontiac Firebird", with a base stamping as "Firebird" while still retaining the same racing specifications and equipment as the original casting.
