This is an 1882 edition of Universal Interest Tables computed by Prof. George William Jones of Cornell University, with a copyright by Finch and Apgar, published by the Spencerian Pen Company of New York. The calculations are "guaranteed correct". There is a penciled notation on the inside cover with the original owner's name. The vintage reference book is pocket sized.The book is worn, especially around edges and corners and along the spine, the pages remain tightly bound. Pages are clean but show age related yellowing. The vintage book has been in the same house in Virginia since it was purchased by the original owner. The antiquarian book measures about 6.25" x 4.25" and has 120 pages.This would make a great gift for a banker, accountant or Accounting teacher.
