This frame is made from Acetate.  Acetate is a nylon-based plastic that is strong, lightweight and flexible.  It is also hypo allergenic.  

This frame has Spring Hinge temples. Spring hinge temples prevent you from stretching the fit of your glasses and ensure that they remain intact and not become loose or out of shape.
