DESCRIPTION:
Steel elbow caps of simple design were popular among medieval knights from all military branches. In early Middle Ages, such elbow defense were attached to the hauberk sleeve. Then it became a part of full-plate arm armor.
This joint protection is fastened with leather belt and buckle on the elbow. It is recommended to be worn over the gambeson or together with padded insets.
There are holes on the top edge, so you may additional tie steel elbow cap up to your medieval doublet.
