Unmarked Loomis German Silver Brown Steel Loose Shank Correction Mouthpiece Bit





This is an unmarked new brown steel pleasure bit with engraved German Silver mounted loose cheek Loomis shanks and a three piece correction mouthpiece with copper rollers.  The hinged snaffle mouth offers the perfect transition for a green horse to a leveraged bit.  The sweet iron mouthpiece has copper rollers on the bars which encourages salivation for a soft mouth.  The mouthpiece measures 5 inches wide x 3/8 in diameter. 
  The slightly swept back shanks makes this a great first bit to transition from the direct rein snaffle bit.  This bit has 7-1/2 inch long cheeks with a 3 inch long purchase for a 2.5 to one leverage ratio for fast response and excellent lift for control of the shoulders and stabilization of the front end.
