This is a tiny little figurine depicting a mouse dressed like Lil Bo Peep with a large bonnet on her head. The top of the bonnet is a yellow satin pin cushion. The inside of the ears is a soft pink. The flower on the front of the bonnet is yellow with green leaves.
There is a mark on the bottom that reads 542. When I researched, I found this same figure as a figurine, as a candle, and (rarely) as a pin cushion. All that were marked had Lefton paper tags, so I am comfortable listing it as Lefton. #27504
CONDITION: This item is used but is in very good to excellent condition with no damage I can find. There are holes in the pin cushion from pins having been stored in it previously.
SIZE: This piece is about 3 3/4" tall.
BACKGROUND: This is one of a number of things I recently purchased from a retired teacher neighbor before she moved away from our 55 and over community to live with her son. I'll be listing more of her things over the next several weeks.
