Measures approximately 5" wide (including handle) x 5.5" deep (including spout) x 2.5" tall

Bottom is marked 1962

Off-white in color ~ gold trim

Invalid feeders were used from the 17th century into the early 1900's. 

They were used to feed invalids in hospitals ~ nursing homes ~ wounded soldiers and infants. 

Soft or liquid food was placed inside, and then it was administered to the patient

Uniquely shaped with a spout and handle

Used for invalids &/or infants in hospital
