is the name of the Bing & Grondahl (B&G) 1974 Mother's Day Plate, featuring a mother Polar Bear with her 2 cubs. The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Pierced foot for hanging; fully marked on back, including the Three Tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl.  Diameter just under 6 inches (15cm). Design by Henry Thelander, who created the designs for all the B&G Mother’s Day plates from 1969 through 1992.
