A blue and white transferware plate that celebrates the history of Plymouth, Massachusetts and commemorates the landing of the pilgrims. The plate is transferware, which means that the image is heat-transferred onto the ceramic surface. This results in a high quality image that won't wear or fade over time. The plate is made of durable earthenware and can be used as a decorative piece or for serving food.
It features The Mayflower in the center and includes Pilgrim Hall, Plymouth Rock 1620, The Portico Over Plymouth Rock, National Monument, Landing of the Pilgrims and Priscilla and John Alden.
Plate measures 10-1/2" in diameter and is in very good used condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Colors are true and vibrant. Any glare, white spots, and color shift gradations on the item are from my camera flash, reflectors, and reflective shiny surfaces.
My items are shipped from Canada and I use Canada Post - we do not have a media rate or first class shipping as in the US. Canada Post charges by the size and weight of the items. When you receive your parcel, shipping costs do not reflect the 15% HST we have to pay in Nova Scotia on stamps. I do not ship on weekends or holidays as there is no mail service available at Canada Post on these days. Please remember that sometimes items are held up by your country's Customs which can extend shipping times.
Always happy to combine items when possible to save you on postage.
IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I SEND YOU A COMBINED SHIPPING INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. Combined shipping is based on the FINAL WEIGHT of your package - please email me the item numbers if you would like an exact rate for the items you are bidding on. Thanks.
