This small glass egg is very beautiful, super clear glass with a blue and white flower in the bottom. It was made by the Mt. St. Helens Art Glass Company, which as far as I know, includes a small amount of Mt. St. Helens' ash in the glass formula. At just 2 1/2 inches tall, and weighing less than 4 ounces (3.8 to be exact) it hardly seems weighty enough to be a paperweight -- but that seems to be the category that these are placed in. The bottom is cut smooth so it sits stably wherever you choose to place it. It is nearly 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the thickest part of the egg.
