This Indiana Glass butter dish is an original black amethyst depression era replacement tray. The oval-shaped tray features a glossy finish and is made of pressed glass fused using a production technique from the 1940s in California, United States. The tray comes from the Adam product line and has one compartment, but the capacity is unknown. The vintage butter tray is an excellent addition to any decorative cookware, dinnerware, or serveware collection.
