this detonator is in working condition -- no markings found on this unit; however it  appears to be similar to

this unit owned for over 45 years by former bomb tech -- TRULY ANTIQUE

box is 13 1/2 x 8 x 6 1/2 inches

9 inch plunger stroke fully functional

2 original thumb screws for detonator wire

inside unit clean intact - see photo

only 2 box side panels can be removed -- each side has 12 wood screws -

carefully remove flat head wood screws (see photo of screw) - these may be hard to replace if lost due to age and thread -

                        remove side panel for access to inside of box

leather strap handle removed for lamp conversion

detonator converted to table lamp over 30 years ago -- TRULY ANTIQUE

lamp has 3 way electric light bulb - included with unit (must use a 3 way bulb for this function)

white glass fixture, ribbed globe, approximately 8 inches diameter

brown rattan shade approx. 18 inches diameter x 12 inches high

to change light bulb, unscrew cosmetic nut at top of lamp shade, remove shade,

          loosen 3 screws at base of globe, remove globe, replace bulb -- re-assemble

electric cord approx. 5 feet long

complete unit approximately 39 inches tall x 18 inches at top (lamp shade)
