This little chubby round hen's best feature is that she still has her original box. That's good for provenance, protection and prestige. The box has some wear, though, and is dented in at the top. The glass hen is in perfect condition. She also is very cute!

The Curios Collection were a set of 8 decorative glass 2-piece trinket boxes, consisting of: hen, turtle, fish, seashell, dodecahedron, baseball, football, and golf ball. Some of them were shown in the 1978 Anchor Hocking catalog. They may have also been made for a year or so either before or after that date.

The hen is 3 3/8 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches tall at her head. The box is 4” by 4” by 4” cubical. Then hen and her box weigh 1 pound 4 ounces before packing for shipping. (The glass will be well-protected with bubblewrap when shipped, not just left unprotected as it originally came in the box.)

This will be shipped by either UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage rate (except for International). Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place. This cannot be shipped by UPS to a post office box. Please contact me before purchase, if you need to have it shipped to a PO Box.
