Festive-themed children's feature based on the novel by Cornelia Funke. When the greedy Gerold Geronimus Goblynch (Volker Lechtenbrink) takes over Christmas land and turns it into a joyless, grim place, Santa Niklas Goodfellow (Alexander Scheer) finds that if he doesn't conform to the ruthless leader he will be turned into chocolate. He manages to escape along with his invisible reindeer, Twinklestar, but during a thunderstorm crashes to Earth where he meets and befriends two children, Ben (Noah Kraus) and Charlotte (Mercedes Jadea Diaz). With Goblynch's army of nutcracker soldiers out to get Niklas, Ben and Charlotte must help him save Christmas before it is too late...
